“Drawn by the Sea”

Perhaps first we quote the famous English poet John Masefield, to set our feet firmly upon the deck of our artistic and nautical ship:

“I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky, And all I ask is a tall ship, and a star to steer her by, And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking, And a gray mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.

“I must go down to the seas again....”

And as we look deeper into the eyes of our mariner, we find an insight into the full dimension of a man's life: the hopes, dreams, acts, voyages of choice and chance with freedom, and upon his steps forward to the next command, a ship to sail, and a voyage yet to come.
